Sympathy For The Devil, Shot at Vū, In Theaters Starting Today
In the production of Sympathy For The Devil, the Hammerstone Studios team faced two significant challenges: the unpredictable weather in Las Vegas and a movie script requiring over a third of the footage to be shot inside a moving vehicle. With virtual production, they were able to overcome these obstacles and have unparalleled creative freedom in a safe and weather-controlled environment. Vū's technology allowed the Hammerstone crew to achieve the realistic lighting and reflections they needed to sell the many driving scenes that provide the backbone for the script.
“LED Volumes are a wonderful environment to work in as a filmmaker. You can get much more material and much more distinct angles. It opens up your toolkit to a whole new variety of ways to shoot.” - Director of Photography, Steven Holleran.
